Following on form the Oil filtration discussion (what a great bunch of posts!), can someone explain how to rig a PCV system on an 8 BA? I checked the techo site but do not see anything....Thanks Everybody

See picture. Parts used are:
Help! grommet #42052 (AutoZone or Pep Boys carry Help! parts; I think it is for a 3.8L Buick V6)

Fram PCV # FV294

I bought an AN fitting to match the threaded hole in the manifold, with a 90-deg elbow and hose nipple, made it much easier and cost about $6.

I like AlbuqF-1's solution. An alternative would be to take the hose from the front draft tube hole and route the hose to the air cleaner.

Russ, there usually isn't enough vacuum to open a PCV valve at the air cleaner, but you could just run a hose there. The problem is, at idle there is almost no flow through the air cleaner, but a lot of blow-by.

Just remember when doing this setup to keep the tube in place in the valley between the manifold and block, and I like to put a real good filter on the oil fill tube as now you are drawing more air than origionally required by the road draft setup........

I have the same system as AlbugF-1's engine, but used an oil filler cap for a closed PVC system. Took the hose from it to my air cleaner.
